Practice Nurse Moira Bennett
The nurse runs a variety of disease management clinics including asthma,COPD, diabetes and heart disease. Moira will also adminster NHS vaccinations and other injectable medications
Health Care Assistant
HCA takes bloods,checks blood pressures and performs other health care procedures. They will also conduct new patient medicals and some health reviews. Jenna Gallazi and Kendall Parker are our present HCAs.
COPD nurse
We have an attached specialist COPD and respiratory nurse attached to the practice. An initial referral is made by the doctors and follow up arranged for clinics.
Pharmacist
Our practice Pharmacist advises on medication and prescribing
District Nurses
There are NHS Tayside District Nurses attached to the practice and locality. District nurses deal with nursing care services provided in the home and can be contacted by telephoning (01382) 740189, leaving your name, date of birth, telephone number & a short message.
Health Visitors
The health visitors attached to the practice deal with the health and needs of children and the elderly. Services provided include baby clinics, immunisation clinics, diet clinics, elderly and child screening clinics. They may be contacted by telephoning (01382) 647477 or 740445 and leaving a message with your details
Midwife
All newly-pregnant women should contact the new self-referral website www.pregnotes.net/selfreferral/tayside. This is the central booking site for all NHS Tayside women. The website is the recommended route however phone numbers are available for women who need assis-tance completing forms. Please see attached patient leaflet for further information and phone numbers
