We are an established practice consisting of two partners - Dr Ronnie Ip and Dr Zareen Hossain-Ibrahim. We work together in the practice with Dr Kate Macdonald, Dr Vivien Wong, DrJennifer Kao, general practice specialist trainees and foundation doctors. In our practice team are the manager, Fiona Robertson, the practice nurse, Katrina Fletcher, administrative and health care staff and attached staff of pharmacist, district nurses, health visitors, midwife and respiratory nurse. A number of community clincs eg warfarin and listening service also run within the practice.
We are a teaching and training practice and are committed to providing the highest standards of care.
Also within Ancrum Medical Centre is the separate partnership of Drs I&S Arthur, Clarke, Sinclair and Gill.

We wish to inform patients that Dr Allen and Dr Thomson have now retired from the practice. The other GPs in the practice will be happy to see patients by appointment.

.INTERPRETATION SERVICES
The practice has access to spoken language and deafblind interpretation and translation services. If you would like to access this service please let the receptionist know when you make your appointment. If unable to make an appointment by telephone then please email the practice at tay.drgatancrum@nhs.scot to request an appointment.

Your pharmacist can provide a number of services including treatment for urinary tract infections, impetigo and allergies. Further information here on NHS Inform
TEXT SERVICE
The practice has recently commenced a new text reminder service. Patients should receive a reminder for their upcoming appointment at the practice.
Any patients failing to cancel or failing to attend a booked appointment will also receive a message.
We hope this will reduce the number of wasted appointments and further improve availability.

PRESCRIPTION ORDERING ONLINE
We now offer a secure online service which can be used to order prescriptions.
We would encourage patients to contact our reception team to register for this service.
You will then need to visit the Patient Services website to complete the process.
You can still order by email if you prefer although the practice is working towards phasing this out in time.
